Are you deaf or hard of hearing and would like to join the World Championships organisation? Then you've come to the right place.
If you are deaf or hard of hearing, we can be contacted for any enquiries by telephone.
This service is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm*.
*Outside these hours, you can use automatic voice recognition to communicate with the person you are talking to via automatic transcription.
3 communication modes :
Instant Speech Transcription (TIP):
- speak directly to the person you are talking to (not by chat), and their words are instantly written on your screen by an ACCEO operator.
- Visio-interpretation in French Sign Language (LSF): the operator translates what you sign orally in real time, and in return signs your interlocutor's words to you.
- Video coding in Completed Spoken Language (CSL): speak directly to the person you are talking to (not via chat). In return, the person's words are instantly encoded on your screen by an ACCEO operator.
How do I call us?
You need :
- a PC, tablet or smartphone
- a headset, optional for added comfort
- a webcam: essential for an LSF videointerpreter
