The 2025 World Championships visual identity revealed
Back to the arena
The visual identity of the 2025 World Championships has been unveiled. After Paris 2024, Paris will once again host a major event in 2025 with the TotalEnergies BWF World Championships. The fastest racket sport in the world will return to Paris – at Porte de la Chapelle in the 18th arrondissement – from August 25 to 31, 2025. After a summer of excitement with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the adidas arena will welcome the best players in the world, who will experience the vibrant and festive atmosphere of a sport that packed out the stands during its 26 Olympic sessions.
A poster that breaks the mold
The French Badminton Federation enlisted the agency Comquest to design and create the visual identity for this major event of 2025. Centered around a shuttlecock-arena, which symbolizes both the sport and the competition, this poster breaks the usual codes. The shuttlecock is, of course, the strong symbol and emblem of badminton. Whether played in a club or casually in a backyard, this object alone is a universal and unifying promise of play, movement, action, diversity, and more. The agency aimed to give it a new dimension, making it the centerpiece of these World Championships. The court, the stands, and the buzz of major events are nestled within this shuttlecock as if in an arena. It thus becomes the vessel for an exceptional sports and entertainment offering. This imagery also brings to mind the passion and enthusiasm shared by millions of French people and foreigners during the summer of 2024. Repetitive motifs, known as “patterns,” adorn the visual, serving as strong markers. They evoke Paris, excitement, and competition. This extraordinary shuttlecock shapes the logo of the competition, with the Eiffel Tower nestled in the heart of its feathers
